Overview of the program

We work extensively with people in a range of circumstances, from people who are wanting to explore their career options through to people who are undertaking involuntary career changes, eg through redundancy.
We do not follow a set program with any of our individual clients. What we do depends on their circumstances and concerns. The kinds of things we typically cover in one-on-one sessions include any or all of:

• Identifying working life priorities – what’s important in your life, and how work fits into that (or should do!)
• Recognising and acknowledging your talents and abilities
• Creating career possibilities (our version of goal setting and career planning – we believe that knowing yourself well enough to be open to unexpected possibilities, as well as hoped-for ones, is the best way to get the job you will love)
• Coming to terms with redundancy and getting ready to move on
• Job search strategising, including linking into existing networks (both ours and yours)
• Self marketing assistance, including reframing your skills and experience for a new career direction
• Resume review and update
• Coaching during the job search process, including coaching and editorial assistance with job applications
• Interview preparation coaching (and also preparation for other types of selection processes)

Program outcomes

Because our coaching services are highly individualised, so are our outcomes. If you have specific outcomes you would like to see for a particular employee, let us know, and we will ensure that our work with that person encompasses your concerns.

Costs

Our individual coaching is charged at a per-session rate. Some people only need one session. Some need six or more. Most end up using 3 or 4.

Overview of the program

The Brand New Me workbook includes information, practical tips, examples, and activities designed to teach people how to use personal branding in their self marketing.
Although the workbook is self paced, participants are encouraged to complete the program within a 3 month period, during which time they have access (via email and phone) to a personal coach. The coach provides encouragement, feedback, advice and support as the participant works through the workbook, as well as keeping them on track. 

Program outcomes

This program is designed to support participants as they:

• Develop their own personal brand, including the key messages to use in their self marketing
• Plan and conduct research to ensure all of their self marketing is targeted for maximum impact with their audience
• Choose and use examples effectively at each stage of the self marketing process
• Construct a contemporary resume that effectively conveys their key messages
• Develop written applications that are consistent with their personal branding
• Plan and prepare for making a good impression during face-to-face selection processes, including interviews

Costs

Cost per participant: $1,200, plus GST ($1,320 including GST)
Cost includes a hard copy of the “Brand New Me” workbook, and email and phone access to a personal branding coach for up to 3 months.

Overview of the program

CareerCraft takes a non-traditional approach to learning about career management and career planning. The program is delivered primarily via online media on demand. Participants subscribe to the program for a 6 month period, during which time they have opportunities to participate in a range of webinars, hosted online discussion groups and live events, as well as having 24/7 access to a moderated career development networking site.

Program outcomes

This program is designed to develop participants’ career management skills, including their ability to:

• identify their evolving career aspirations and priorities
• articulate their marketable qualities
• make sound career decisions
• respond positively to uncertainty and change
• balance their working lives
• recognise and respond to opportunities
• develop their professional networks

Costs

Initial cost to set up the program in your organisation is $5,000, plus GST ($5,500, including GST). This fee includes free subscriptions for up to 10 initial subscribers. (Equivalent to $500 per person, plus GST.) Additional subscribers are charged at a flat rate of $250 per person, plus GST ($275 per person, including GST).
NOTE: The technical platform for this program is currently under development, and we plan to have it ready for implementation and available for subscription, commencing 10 August 2009.
