About Us

Career Spa was created by Wanda Hayes, and was built on her more than 15 years’ experience as a career counsellor and career development practitioner.

Wanda has a passion for career development, and for helping people find a real sense of purpose and direction in their working lives. She believes that work is more than just a necessary part of our lives. Like it or not, our work plays an important role in creating our sense of self. So when it’s working well for you, your career can add to and enhance your life.

Wanda’s work has ranged from providing career counselling for people who have lost their jobs, to career guidance for students, to career coaching for people who have simply lost themselves in their work.
She is a respected speaker and presenter, but her real happiness comes from working closely with people – in small groups or one-on-one. It is there that her compassion, her enthusiasm, and her genuine belief that we all have a right to be happy in our working lives come to the fore.

Wanda has developed all of Career Spa’s programs, based on what she has learned from her work with real people like you. These programs are delivered by the Career Spa team, all of whom have been personally trained by Wanda.

The Career Spa team have been carefully selected for their shared passion for making a real difference in people’s lives, and their exceptional skills in facilitating personal change, as well as their knowledge of career development tools and techniques.

But most of all, the Career Spa team are caring and curious, energetic and enthusiastic. We are interested in you. And we want to help you find fresh new ways to enjoy your working life.
